Our Grosseck-Speiereck ski area in Mauterndorf is part of two large ski regions, the LUNGAU region and the LUNGO region.
The LUNGAU region includes the Grosseck-Speiereck, Katschberg-Aineck and Fanningberg
The LUNGO region includes the Grosseck-Speiereck, Katschberg-Aineck, Fanningberg AND Obertauern.

This gives you the possibility to enjoy up to four unique ski areas, each with its own character and together representing about 300 km of pistes and 50 lifts, with a single pass. The free use of the ski bus is included!

Whether for children during the day or for you at the end of an eventful day skiing, fun and entertainment is guaranteed! In Mauterndorf itself, the 50 metre long, illuminated toboggan run lies directly next to the winter walking path to the ski centre (at the foot of Mauterndorf Castle) |

Mauterndorf Castle is also open for visitors in the winter and begs you to visit and discover its secrets! The medieval Mauterndorf castle is located on a rocky cliff within walking distance from our house. An exciting trip back in time to the late Middle Ages awaits the visitor. From the 44 metre high fortified tower, there is a magnificent view of Mauterndorf, the Radstädter Tauern in the north, the Hohe Tauern in the west and the Nockberge mountain range in the south.
In the tavern with cozy dining room you can relax and have a drink or enjoy freshly prepared Lungauer dishes. |
