One card, numerous possibilities: With the new all-inclusive LungauCard our guests await a huge variety of "all inclusive" and price reduced activities for the whole family.
All guests, who stay during their holidays with us at Haus Katris, will receive their personal holiday card for the entire duration of their stay.
The card entitles the holder to free or discounted entry to many tourist attractions, nature parks, museums, swimming pools and lifts throughout the Lungau. Variety, fun and adventure are guaranteed!
The card is valid for the period from June 1 to October 31.

Our mountain the Grosseck-Speiereck
For hikers, mountain bikers and families with children...
The Grosseck-Speiereck adventure mountain is the perfect destination for both young and young-at-heart! You can hike on the mountain or ride comfortably on the 8-person Grosseck cable car from Mauterndorf ski centre at 1,100m elevation to nearly 2,000m elevation.
The cable car mountain station is the starting point for several hiking trails with wonderful panoramic views. Whether you want to hike at a leisurely pace or conquer the mountain peaks, you’ll find hiking routes of various lengths and levels of difficulty. Your "physical well-being" is naturally catered in the best possible way in the alpine huts and restaurants on the mountain.
Even mountain bikers can fill their needs!
Our Lungau region has an extensive bike trail network. 15 newly developed MTB routes, fully marked from start to finish, with a total length of more then 560 kilometers are just waiting to be explored by you! Mauterndorf Castle
For a fascinating trip back in time...
The medieval Mauterndorf castle, originated in the 13th century, is located within walking distance from our house.
It's located on a rocky cliff an it begs you to visit and discover its secrets. An exciting trip back in time to the late Middle Ages awaits the visitor.
From the 44 metre high fortified tower, there is a magnificent view of Mauterndorf, the Radstädter Tauern in the north, the Hohe Tauern in the west and the Nockberge mountain range in the south.
In the tavern with cozy dining room you can relax and have a drink or enjoy freshly prepared Lungauer dishes. |

The Taurachbahn
An exceptional adventure...
The Taurachbahn is the highest altitude narrow gauge railway in Austria and a family summer experience in the Lungau.
The historic steam train runs from June to September through the Taurachtal, from Mauterndorf to St. Andrä and back.
The train transports your bike and children’s pram free-of-charge! Those who wish, can cycle back through the well signposted cycle paths from St. Andrä to Mauterndorf. |

The Outdoorparc Lungau
An absolutely safe, but action-packed program for children (from ages 5), teens and adults.
In Mariapfarr, just a few miles from Mauterndorf, lies the Outdoorparc Lungau, realized especially for young and old. The Outdoorparc is located around the lake "Nessi teich". A modern Flying Fox over several stations, a team course with climbing wall, bouldering, a redesigned beach with deck area, a pier for boats, a bar for refreshments and a street soccer court rounds up the offerings.
For the Lungauer guests, the Outdoorparc is obvious as all-inclusive program also part of Lungau Card. |

Mauterndorf open air pool
A welcome way to cool down on hot summer days...
Our large municipal sports complex is located at about 250m from our house. You’ll find a 1035m² outdoor swimming pool heated by solar energy, with fast giant waterslide.
You can sunbathe and enjoy relaxing on the big lawn and for the smallest children there’s also a children’s pool and playground.
Here you can also play a game of tennis or miniature golf. A snack or a drink can be found on the cozy outside terrace.
Open daily from 9.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. during good weather from the end of May to the beginning of September. |
