Very hospitable owners, attentive to everyone's wishes, and service on par with a hotel! Well-equipped apartments and access to a beautiful garden with play equipment, a small pool for toddlers, benches,... A lovely, cozy village with numerous authentic places to eat, an excellent base for all kinds of activities (outdoor swimming pool 150 m away, adventure park, challenging hikes for true sports enthusiasts and also adventure walks for children). Our children (aged 15, 12 and 7) each find something to enjoy there! As avid skiers, we are also considering a winter holiday there, given the many possibilities and reliably snowy area. Truly a first-rate price-quality ratio!!!

Hospitality, warmth and excellent service are the first words that come to mind when I have to tell someone about Haus Katris.

Before our stay, we had already received plenty of information about the apartment. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and informed about the options in the area. The apartment was good and nicely furnished, very clean, and everything we needed was there.

We have enjoyed our holiday in Mauterndorf. Beautiful surroundings, not yet too touristy, we did some nice day trips, and the children had a great time. Thank you for all your tips, your hospitality, the schnapps, the delicious breakfast, the little touches, the washing-up you took off our hands, and the memorable evenings with the local people. Huis Katris is a pleasant place to stay. Friendly hosts who gave us an unforgettable welcome and provided very good service.
For us it was a very good starting point for hikes, or for a day trip by car.

Haus Katris is ideally located, in a small, charming, authentic village, with several ski slopes nearby, very easy to reach with the free ski bus. (Of course you can also easily drive with your own car to any slope you like.)
Mauterndorf is a charming, quiet village where you can enjoy a cozy dinner or drink in the evening.
Service is absolutely top-notch, they have a solution for everything and really pamper you. (Sheets and towels are provided, and the hosts do the dishwashing (which is a fantastic service).
Comfort, nothing missing, very good beds, free wifi, TV, spacious and spotlessly clean, sunny terrace, large garden, parking right in front of the door, heated room to store the skis and boots.
In the second week of the Easter holiday there is still more than enough snow. We have already booked again for 2016 :-)

We spent a wonderful winter holiday at Haus Katris. The owners were friendly and helpful. The apartments were comfortable, in a house with good transport links.
Important: the apartment is close to the skibus stop and the shop. Nothing more is needed to spend a holiday without worrying about anything.

At Haus Katris, everything is done to give you a real holiday feeling. Our expectations were exceeded several times over. And believe us, they were high after reading all the positive reviews.

The apartments are contemporary, neat and very well equipped.

The house is located on the edge of the village, opposite a supermarket, and after a pleasant 5-minute walk you are right in the middle of Mauterndorf. The village itself is quiet and authentic.

Reaching the ski areas depends on a car or the free ski bus. Within a 15-minute drive you can then choose from 4 areas, each with its own qualities.

Katy and Kris know everything there is to know about the area, so make gratefully use of that.

Visited these lovely people for the first time. What a surprise. Friendly welcome, a beautifully and tastefully furnished apartment with everything you could need. They even do the dishes and go get your breakfast. Katy and Kris are always available for questions. There was no snow, but we received all the information about Christmas markets and activities, so we didn't miss the snow. Time flew by. Merci for your lovely care, and we will definitely be back!!!

Haus Katris, Mauterndorf and the Lungau region are something you have to experience yourself! Because you simply cannot put into words how fantastic a holiday here is. For the wonderful Katy and Kris, no effort is too much to make their guests feel at home, Mauterndorf is the coziest little village, and the Lungau region is simply the best. Absolute top recommendation. Perfect location for all kinds of excursions, super hospitable. We were truly spoiled !! At Haus Katris everything is taken care of down to the smallest detail and the guest is central. Furthermore, a visit to the Riedingtal is definitely worth it, as is the Lungau outdoor park. We thank Katy and Kris for a really great week full of surprises.
