We had a wonderful holiday with the extremely hospitable Kris and Katy. From the very first contact we felt at home, and our 2 little ones were also welcomed with open arms. The beautiful apartment, the splendid and generous (breakfast) service, the fun get-togethers in the evenings, and the lovely surroundings made it an unforgettable holiday for us. We will certainly be coming back.

Katy and Kris, thank you for the warm welcome. We felt at home right away in your holiday apartment. The apartment was spotlessly clean and everything was available for a cozy stay. Thank you also for the daily cookies, the washing up, the fun football evening and the useful info about interesting tourist attractions.

This is the second time we have used this accommodation and once again we were completely satisfied. The newly renovated apartment we stayed in this time was above standard in both design and equipment. What we appreciate most, however, is the warm and friendly behaviour of the owners, which I would also call above standard. We have stayed in various apartments in Austria several times, always nice and clean, but this accommodation has something extra, and that is exactly what people do who do their work well and with pleasure.
We were also very pleased with the LungauCard we received with the accommodation, which allows free entry to several cable cars in the area, the local castle (with an audio guide also available in Czech), the pool in Tamsweg and several outdoor swimming pools.

Haus Katris is the ideal family accommodation for a ski holiday
The hosts are super friendly and hospitable, and there is a bread roll service! Fresh baked goods are placed in the apartment every day. The value for money is unbeatable!

Katy and Kris were so helpful both before arrival and during our stay. So many nice little touches to make you feel at home. Very clean comfortable apartments with great view. Great garden and we also borrowed the sledges which was good fun. Brilliant location close to supermarket, shops and restaurants (Katy and Kris gave us many recommendations on places to go). Great skiing, we sampled all the local resorts and loved them all, far surpassed our expectations. Used the car rather than ski bus for convenience and parking wasn't a problem (ski bus stop was very nearby though). Highly recommend the apartments and ski area and definitely plan to return hopefully next year.

Our Krokus holiday 2016 flew by at Huize Katris!
A warm welcome, a delicious breakfast every morning and a cozy après-ski at Huize Katris.... The stay and the service were top notch.
We could easily explore all the ski areas nearby with the ski bus. How easy was that :-).
The children also had lots of fun, so it can be said that the Embrechts family was very satisfied with their stay with you.

We stayed five nights at Haus Katris. The cozy room with everything we needed was clean, and we felt right at home. A bottle of red wine as a welcome gift and a delicious cake every day :-)
The weather cooperated, and we saw a lot in the surroundings. The Lungau Card we received was very useful.

GREAT STAY!
Katy and Kris really do everything they can to make you feel at home! The information you get about everything there is to do in the area is top notch.
You never have to go far by car because there is loads to do nearby.
If you want to go out for dinner in the evening, you have a choice of restaurants within walking distance. We also had a few lovely meals at the Burcht Mauterndorf;
The apartment has everything you need, and with the Lungau card you get quite a few discounts and even loads of free activities.

Truly special welcome from the couple who manage the property. Hygiene, friendliness and fresh treats every day. Dishwashing service (the managers wash your dishes in their dishwasher), very useful for those cooking in the apartment. Small garden with a little playground included in the property, very useful for those travelling with young children. Excellent service for activities in this beautiful region, including the legendary Lungau Card.
