LungauCard
One card, countless possibilities: with the new all-inclusive LungauCard, our guests can look forward to a huge variety of "all inclusive" and discounted activities for the whole family.
All guests who stay overnight at Haus Katris during their holiday receive their personal holiday card for the entire duration of their stay, free of charge.
The card entitles you to free or discounted admission to numerous excursion destinations, natural spectacles, sights, museums, swimming pools and cable cars throughout the Lungau. Variety, fun and adventure are guaranteed in any weather. The card is valid from 1 June to 31 October.

Grosseck-Speiereck Adventure Mountain
The Grosseck-Speiereck adventure mountain is an ideal excursion destination for young and old! You can hike up the mountain or comfortably ride the 8-seat cabin cable car, the Grosseck cable car, from 1,100 m up to almost 2,000 m above sea level. The cable car's upper station is the starting point for circular hikes with magnificent panoramic views. Whether you want to enjoy leisurely walks, mountain hikes or conquer summits, you will find hiking routes of various lengths and difficulty levels here.
There is also plenty to discover for mountain bikers! The Lungau has an extensive mountain bike trail network. 15 newly developed MTB routes with a total length of over 560 kilometres on varied tracks are waiting to be ridden. Mauterndorf Castle
The medieval castle, which was built in the 13th century, is only a few minutes' walk from our house. Situated on a rock, the castle dominates the historic town of Mauterndorf and invites you to explore!
At Mauterndorf Castle, visitors can look forward to an exciting journey back in time to the late Middle Ages. From the 44 m high watchtower, you have a fascinating view of Mauterndorf, the Radstadt Tauern to the north, the High Tauern to the west and the Nock Mountains to the south. The cosy tavern in historic surroundings invites you to linger over freshly prepared Lungau specialities.
The Taurach Railway
The Taurach Railway is the highest-altitude narrow-gauge railway in Austria and a wonderful family experience in summer in the Lungau. The historic steam locomotive runs from June to September through the Taurach Valley, from Mauterndorf to St. Andrä and back. The Taurach Railway transports your bicycle free of charge in the luggage van. From St. Andrä, you can then begin the return journey by bike on well-signposted cycle paths.
Outdoorparc Lungau
In Mariapfarr, only a few kilometres from Mauterndorf, lies the Outdoorparc Lungau, which is designed especially for young and old. The Outdoorparc is located by the "Nessi Teich" lake. A modern flying fox system across several stations, a team course with climbing wall, bouldering, a newly designed beach with sunbathing area, a jetty for boats, a snack option and a streetsoccer pitch round off the offering. For Lungau guests, the Outdoorparc is of course also included in the LungauCard as an all-inclusive offer.
SMARTY Land: Children's Park
The SMARTY Land children's park at the foot of the Grosseck-Speiereck adventure mountain is a must-visit for all children on a summer holiday in Lungau! A 40 m long water tubing track, a bouncy castle, trampolines, a bouldering wall, a climbing castle, children's squads, go-karts, giant slides, a Indian tent and much more provide fun and variety.
Mauterndorf Outdoor Pool
The Mauterndorf adventure pool is 250 meters from our house and offers plenty of fun and action for adults and children. The fast giant water slide and the solar-heated pool landscape with 1,035 m² of water surface invite you to swim. For sunbathing and relaxing in the shade there is a spacious lawn, and for the little ones also a children's paddling pool and a play stream. Enjoy a game of tennis or mini golf here too. A snack or a drink can be found on the cozy terrace.
Open in fine weather from the end of May to the beginning of September daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
