We had a wonderful ski holiday and the accommodation was excellent!

The friendly welcome, the warmth of Kati and Kris. The feeling as if we had always lived in this community. The extremely tidy, nicely clean little apartment. Kati's always homemade treats, the delicious "Kurzen" and the time that came with them for a little chat with Kris and the other residents. And we found it especially charming that Kati and Kris waved after us when we said goodbye. Where else in today's world does one get such a thing? Where else are you welcomed or seen off so warmly like a family? Only with Kati and Kris, they are truly special hosts, one of a kind! We wish you all the very best and will gladly come back!

A wonderful ski week with excellent service, and we really loved it. A big compliment to the hosts!

We had only ordered a bread roll service. That worked perfectly, and the bread rolls were great. In the hallway of the house, a schnapps (several varieties) was always available for guests, and for the children there was always something to snack on (gummy bears, pretzel sticks and more). Every afternoon we found a pastry for each of us in the apartment. Even though the kitchen was fully equipped, our used dishes were picked up daily and returned freshly put away. Overall, one can say that Katy and Kris offer a wonderful service, the likes of which we have never experienced anywhere else. A shining example for many landlords who are only focused on profit. And yet the two of them are not intrusive but simply the "good spirits" of the house.

EXCELLENT!!!
Hosts were very friendly, always willing to help. Every day we had fresh muffins on the table. On entering the house was prepared 5 kinds of schnaps for guests what was very nice after whole day of skiing. Very good location with restaurant and shops nearby. I highly recommend stay in Haus Katris.

The house was near the centre of the village. Restaurants, supermarket, etc. were within some minute walk distance. In front of the house there was a spacious parking place. We had a cosy apartment on the first floor with a room, a kitchen and a bathroom. It was only 35 m2, but was suitable for a family with two children. The bedroom consisted a large double bed and a sofa. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was small, but well equipped (water heater, coffee maker, microwave oven and everything that we might need). In the kitchen there was a sofa as well, which could be converted to a double bed with one motion and it was surprisingly comfortable (thick mattress). A big balcony belonged to the apartment. We had a view to the mountains. Although the house was close to a main road, we had calm nights, thanks to the good windows. The heating system was perfect and could be controlled freely. The house had a room for the skis and the ski boots with heated (!) boot holders. Everything was extremely clean. The hosts were very kind persons. They paid special attention to every detail of the apartment's comfort and our stay. I highly appreciated the welcome drinks in the evenings when we got back from skiing. :)

Super nice hosts. Everything was lovingly and thoughtfully furnished, very clean. Great tips for activities in the area, and they even handle restaurant reservations. We commuted from here to ski in Obertauern every day, 15 minutes by car, very hassle-free. The daily greeting from the bakery kitchen was always very tasty. We would come back anytime. Thank you very much!

A dream vacation!
Wonderful hosts, large and clean apartments, very well equipped with everything needed. Katy and Kris are 10/10 people. Every day we received a surprise (muffins, cake, waffles + all kinds of sweets for kids and drinks for adults). I warmly recommend Haus Katris. We will always return with pleasure. Enthusiastic, supportive couple Kris and Katy. They make sure the apartment is in order, and the tenants are also warmly helped. Good tips.
The house is located on the edge of the village. The apartment is great. Nice spacious balcony. Everything within walking distance, even the ski lift.
At the top of the mountain a beautiful view and plenty of opportunities to go hiking in the summer and so on.
We lacked nothing.
Wonderful stay for an active holiday in a warm bed.

So glad we found you back then. We have now come for the 4th time, and once again it felt like coming home.
Unfortunately we had to leave again, with a great deal of sadness in our hearts, but this time too with a suitcase full of memories of yet another wonderful holiday, complemented by the taste of the delicious and surprising cakes, which some of us will miss enormously, the apero and the BBQ, and so much more.

Great place for a perfect ski holiday!

The house is close to the centre (shop, bakery, restaurants, ski rental are in walking distance). The apartman is well equipped, comfortable. The owners are EXTREMELY friendly, really a great experience. Muffins on the table every day, welcome drinks (5 different spirits) are always waiting you at the entrance, Katy and Kris were VERY helpful.

Very good house position especially for skiers - ski bus stop is very close to the house so you do not need to use the car if you are skiing in Obertauern. Bakery and supermarket are very close to house. Mauterndorf is a nice little town with several pleasant restaurants and cafes, and with plenty of trails for walking, if you are not a skier...”

Thank you very much for the warm welcome, we really enjoyed being with you.

We stayed at Haus Katris for the 2nd time, this time six of us in the upper floor, and we were still very satisfied.
In the meantime, the dishwasher is a welcome addition.
Everything is there that a self-catering guest needs. In other apartments there is neither dish soap, nor cloths, nor spices, salt or sugar. Here with you everything is available, and it makes the holiday immensely easier.

The schnapps at the entrance warms not only the heart, but also the frozen body.

It is lovely to see how much love has gone into preparing everything and how the guests are expected. Once again, a heartfelt thank you!

Our first holiday in Austria was great! We received very good information from Katy about everything there is to enjoy in the area. Very practical apartments and a tasty breakfast. We were pampered and could turn to Katy and Kris for advice and help. Definitely worth repeating!
