Great content about our ski holiday in Mauterndorf. The hospitality, tips and original suggestions for our evenings out were truly wonderful. After skiing, they always had a tasty snack and drink ready, everything done gladly for their guests. A splendid stay with excellent service and an eye for detail. We didn't have to worry about the dishes, clean bath towels, and an apartment that was always neat and tidy when we arrived.

For the fourth time, we have had a wonderful vacation here.
The owners are very friendly and very helpful, you feel at home right away. Mauterndorf is a beautiful, quiet and authentic medieval village with nice places to eat.
There are four ski areas nearby that are easy and quick to reach.
Every day they treat you to freshly baked cake and delicious Austrian schnapps.
Very beautiful and comfortable apartments. We have already stayed in several apartments and all of them offer the same comfort and space.
There is always private parking for the apartment and there is a storage room for skis, bicycles, and the like.
A lovely garden to relax on the bench in the sun with a drink and chat with the other guests staying there.
Well, for us this is the perfect holiday location!
... Oh, I almost forgot, free, working WiFi, nice for staying in touch with the folks back home.

We enjoyed a fantastic ski holiday with our friends and stay at 'Haus Katris'. The original tips for our fun evenings out and the excellent care from the owners made our stay that little bit extra special!
I still think back to the dinner in the castle, exclusively for our group. The apartments were very spacious and tidy, the dishes were done daily, towels were changed, and everything was tidied up on arrival after our day of skiing, and on top of that there was a tasty snack and drink every day, always with a smile. A stay at Haus Katris is definitely recommended! Thank you Kris and Katy!

Visiting Haus Katris for the first time and it was truly FANTASTIC!!! The hosts Kris and Katy immediately give you a family atmosphere!
They are always there for you and nothing is too much for them!
Very well-kept apartment! The surroundings are also lovely, a small cozy village where you can get a meal for next to nothing. We are already thinking about going back, a real recommendation!

For the second time we stayed with this lovely host and hostess. And we will certainly come back many more times. Beautiful, well-kept apartments and kind people who are always available. You can turn to them with any questions, and they make sure you have a carefree holiday. Stunning surroundings where it is pleasant to walk, and the surrounding villages are also easy to reach.

WELL WORTH IT!

I went skiing for a week with a friend.
The hosts are super friendly people and are always there for you.
The apartments are beautiful and super clean, and they meet all comfort needs. A very nice area and also very beautiful. Choice of 4 different ski areas with one ski pass, which we also did. In short, they will definitely be seeing me again.

We had a wonderful holiday in Mauterndorf. The location and the ski area were great. Your apartment was super, and the best part was your service offer. We are actually campers and not used to that kind of supply, and you offered it all so friendly. We were very satisfied and would definitely like to come back to you next winter.

The very hospitable Katy and Kris gave us a fantastic holiday.
The friendly and personal approach is very special.
The apartments are equipped with all conveniences. Microwave, fridge, internet etc. The very many storage spaces (cupboards, hooks, shelves) stand out. Very handy in any case.
What also stands out is how spotlessly clean everything is.
The car stands on our own property and the parking area is easy to access.
The house is located very centrally. Extremely short walking distance to the bus and bakery, the supermarket is also very close by.
If you are looking for a place for the Lungau ski area, don't hesitate and book!

Great value for money. The rooms are spacious and the beds very comfortable. The owners are very kind and extremely helpful. The welcome is warm. The option to use the kitchen for breakfast. The room for skis and boots even has a system to keep the boots warm. The location is good and quiet. The private parking is very convenient.

For the third time we went on vacation to Haus Katris.
The vacation was super again, well looked after and we received various useful tips from the owners. Where we can taste the really delicious Austrian cuisine, which excursions we could do,
and all information tailored to us.
The location is also ideal, this year we made excursions from there to the cozy Salzburg where you can visit, among other things, Mozart's birthplace. Italy is about an hour's drive away, where you can again soak up a different culture (and cuisine), and we also drove to the Kaprun glacier where you can ski in both winter and summer. Last year we even went on an excursion to Slovenia, and every time you come home there is always something tasty waiting, delicious homemade cake, a tasty schnapps ... etc.
Negative: We were short on time again, we will have to go back because we still haven't seen everything in the area.

We had a great time in Mauterndorf and surroundings, it was lovely to stay there, nice weather, cozy accommodation, we all enjoyed ourselves. From the hikes in the mountains and the nature park, the swimming pools of Tamsweg, Mauterndorf and St. Michael, from the tasty pastries and so much more ...
You welcomed us with open arms and that was wonderful (pampered now and then with a little tipple, which was promised for the winter ... pampered with aperitif sticks that our kids gobbled up with pleasure). Families (even with children under 12) who want to recharge and haven't yet visited Mauterndorf in the summer holiday are WRONG!
That's why we'll happily come back soon. Actually that's only about 5 months away! Then we'll be back with you in Mauterndorf in its winter 'outfit'. I'm curious what winter will make of Mauterndorf.

We had already had a successful winter holiday here, but a week's summer holiday at Haus Katris was also a very positive experience!
Wonderful hosts and plenty of options in the area. Beautiful hiking and cycling routes, and a large outdoor swimming pool, minigolf and tennis court within walking distance. Our next winter holiday is already booked, but they will also see us return in the summer.

We had a fantastic holiday with two lovely hosts. Everything was beautifully kept, clean and simply right. They were always ready to help with advice and practical support, and up for a nice chat. For the first time, I had tears in my eyes as we drove home, they made you feel so at home. We have already committed to coming back next year, and we know we've found our holiday spot.

Dear Katy and Kris. Thank you for the fantastic holiday we were allowed to spend with you. We will never find such a lovely holiday address again. We arrived with a small heart and didn't know what to expect. But thanks to you, we felt at home from the very first moment. The welcome, the cake, the schnapps, the dishes, the tips on where to eat out, tips and facts to explore the region, the chats, the help with unexpected problems, nothing was too much for you. Our kids also found a new friend there, Oskar the cat. Some of us went home in tears. One thing is certain: we will definitely come back here.

This is already the second time we've been there, and we will definitely go back next year. The surroundings are also very beautiful, a quiet, cozy village with tasty little restaurants.
My leave was too short, otherwise I would certainly have stayed longer.
